Tot School (Week 10)

Caeden is currently 24 months old.
I didn't take a whole lot of pictures during our Tot School times...C got a little tired of me snapping pictures instead of focusing on him. :) We did our letter of the week which was "P". I do not have a pictures of that, but I printed out a letter template, and then gave him a pink and purple crayon to color with.

On Tuesday we went to our usual Tot Time at the library. This week the theme was "At The Pond" so we sang songs about frogs, and listened to a story about ducks. They gave us a few crafts to do at home, but we have yet to get to those. :) We of course checked out new books which we have read...a lot! C really enjoys listening to books lately.

I got out the Eric Carle nesting blocks for C to work on putting numbers in order...and stacking. He enjoyed knocking them down over and over.

I rearranged C's playroom (again) to try and make a little bit more room on the floor for him to play. Now that we have the train table in there, it was getting a bit cramped in there. I also added a table for him to sit at and work on puzzles, coloring, etc. My Great-Grandfather made that table, so I thought it would be neat for C to be able to use it. So there's a peek at our Tot School room/playroom. I usually use our kitchen table for art projects due to the possibility of paint showing up on the walls and carpet. :)

I'm sorry for the lack of photos...we also did puzzles, peg board, aqua doodles, sensory tables, and had a few water activities outside!

My favorite of the week:

I also wanted to add that I broke C of the binky this week! I finally decided that he needed to be done with it (since it was my fault he had it to begin with)...so after looking at other parents' tips and advice I went with Bye-Bye-Binky.com. They had some helpful steps, and though I didn't follow it to the T...we were a Binky free house by Thursday! Now onto potty training...in about 6 more months...maybe. :)
