Tot School (Week 8)

tCaeden is currently 24 months old.
We spent a lot of time outside this week due to the weather being somewhat nice, even though it has gotten very hot and humid! Needless to say, I was still trying to get my house back in order (does that ever happen?) and try and tackle the large amounts of laundry that we accumulated on our trip.

C had quite a bit of individual play this week while I was attempting to get my to-do list done! He played with his train table quite a bit, so I'm sure he was making up for the lost time he had when he was away from it. :)

C played with his water table that he got for his birthday and we also bought him a kiddie pool that he can splash around in.

C also got a bubble blower for his birthday, so we finally got to try it out!

A little puzzle time to cool off and settle down before nap time. C is getting so much better at putting these puzzles together. He still doesn't focus on them too long, but he is willing to help me put the pieces back!
Our sensory activity, which I actually didn't plan on happening involved SAND! I do not like sand...at all...but I know kids love it and it is a good activity to do to practice some scooping, pouring, and dumping. This was C's first time playing in sand...and as you can see...he loved it! We (and I mean my husband) are tearing out our back patio and underneath it we discovered sand, so we kind of have an already made sandbox!
C apparently needed a break....so he took a rest on his new play set which we got for FREE! So blessed for that one since these things are expensive!
Breaks over! Time to help Daddy mow the yard!
Time for bubbles...
Sweat. Sand. Fun. All in a days work!

C had some Daddy time this week too. I bought C this Aqua doodle with Elmo on it for $2 at a garage sale so he was learning about football plays while daddy was writing the X's and Os during his snack time. I thought it was a bit early for C to be learning about football, but when your dad is a coach, I guess it's never too early!
A few favorites from the week:

We still didn't get to our letter "O" activities done...still crossing my fingers for motivation this week!
