Tot School

Caeden is currently 28 months.
Tot School
We were super busy this week so we only got to Tot School at the beginning of the week, but there was still plenty of 1:1 time, just not documented. :)

We had Tot Time at the library and the theme was about music.  Caeden actually did a much better job of participating and not looking stressed out!  We sang songs, and made a "shaker" to take home.  We could choose between rice and beans to put in our plastic Easter egg (and then tape it really well), and C chose beans.  We also have a sheet of activities to do at home and some easy instruments we could make at home.

Art:
We basically did simple activities.  I got out our dry erase crayons and let him write on his Sesame Street place mats, and then the dry erase board.  He was making circles, and lines, and making this activity last a while!

While he was coloring, I had this kids c.d. on that he loves to listen to.  I captured him "singing" to "Six In A Bed" and then pretending to fall over.

Play-doh:
I haven't gotten out the play-doh for a while so we made cars and other objects. :)
I love how quiet and focused he was.

Daddy Time:
We also traveled to see Caeden's Grandparents and Aunt and Uncle.  He got a lot of 1:1 from everyone, especially Daddy!
Sensory?
While we were eating out, Caeden started making a mess with his ice cream, so I made it into a Tot School activity!  Making circles with your spoon and talking about how cold it was!  (Okay, I know it's a stretch...and I probably shouldn't allow my child to do that in public.) :)

My husband and I participated in the Race For A Cure 5k walk over the weekend in honor of my mom, and Allan's Aunt who are breast cancer survivors.  Caeden was not able to participate this year (not a fan of big crowds), but hopefully in the future!!  He showed his support though by wearing pink! :)

Here are my favorite pictures from the week...just spending time with family!

That was our week...short and sweet!!
Thanks for stopping by!

Looks like a great week.

Awesome on the 5k. My mom is a survivor too. My sis-in-law just did a 3 day/60 mile walk.
