Caeden is currently 29 months.
We're back (I think)! I took a break from blogging so I could adjust to my new part-time job and figuring out how to juggle work, home, a child, and a husband all at the same time! It's been a crazy two weeks, and I have missed blogging about what Caeden and I do at home. Hopefully I can still blog here and there so everyone can keep updated!
With that said, here are some highlights from our week!
Building:
C continues to love his nesting/stacking blocks. He also has now decided to use them as steps for his trucks and cars.
Shapes and Patterning:
C wanted to work on "E-oboard" or as I like to call it, Geo-board. :) He of course liked to build towers instead of putting all the colors in the same row, but he was calling out the shapes and colors as he was stacking.
He also found his pegs...and you guessed it...built a TOWER!
Sensory:
I got out his sensory pan with the uncooked pasta noodles (he got bored fast from this) and then decided to try sugar. The sugar was a hit! We finger traced shapes and letters, drove cars through the "snow", buried the cars, and made tracks with the cars. I probably should have used salt in case he got a taste of the yummy sugar. :)
"Art":
We hadn't done Do-A-Dot's for a looooong time, so C was excited when I pulled these out this week.
Coloring on the chalkboard (with his lovely necklaces that he found in a drawer of mine)...
and coloring on his magnadoodle while laying on his stool that he recently has been playing with more.
Tracing:
I recently ordered these Shape and Number tracing/sticker books that came with a dry erase type marker that you can wipe clean and use them over and over. C is obviously not able to trace but did enjoy coloring each vehicle he saw!
For Fun (and my favorites):
C has been sick most of the week so we had to bring up his Cubs rocking chair for him to relax in while we watched Bob The Builder.
That was our week of Tot School!
Thanks for stopping by!

So fun!
What cute pictures! Your son looks like he's been busy.
Love the Eric Carle nesting blocks. Cute! Nesting blocks are Kayleigh's favorite.
Great to see you back! The sugar sensory tub idea is a good one. I like the snow idea and driving the trucks through it. I know what you mean about the paints - we just did some today but it seems like months since we did any.
