Tiny Talk Tuesday

Caeden is currently 28 months.

 

Yesterday morning when I went in to get Caeden out of his bed, he was setting up his "friends" (Curious George, Puppy, and Ming-Ming) along the side of his crib.  They were all in a line facing him.  He then took his pillow, folded it, and said...

C:  "Lissen...lissen."
Me:  "Caeden, what are you doing?"
C:  "Soree."  "Ree soree."
Me: "You are reading a story to your friends?"
C:  "Okay." (continues to hold the pillow like a book, then starts naming the animals on the pillow)
Me:  "Are you having story time this morning?"
C:  "Yess."
Me thinking to myself:  "Huh...he's having story time and telling them to listen.  He really does pay attention during Tot Time."

Wish I would have had my camera for that!
