Caeden is currently 28 months.
Here are some highlights from our week!
This continues to be a favorite activity with C. He actually is starting to put the correct color of button in the right spot! He still likes to put one on, and then change the picture. :)
Pegs:
C found the pegs in one of his drawers, so we worked on colors and some patterning (he could care less), and then built a tower. We used every single peg!
Drawing:He still loves the dry erase crayons. He was telling me he drew a, "poeece car", "sun-ay schoo cass", and"gofeesh".
Play:
We got out are big blocks and built a road. He also has been asking us to build tunnels for his trucks.
Sorting/Patterns:
I bought these two items from a Discovery Toy party that I attended a while back. To see my post about Discovery Toys, go here. C really loves these. I really have just let him play with them however he chooses. I did get the cards out that go with them and he was able to match the correct color with the farm animal or bug, and even was successful when following the simple directions (which are on the cards) like, "put the yellow duck in the pond." I look forward to getting my other products I have ordered!
Busy Bugs (which he was scared of at first...thought they were real.) :)
Techy Tot:
I have been letting C play on this website called KneeBouncers. I usually allow only 15 minutes of computer time, but this is so simple for C to do. You can use any key to play so he usually sticks to the arrow keys. I have taught him how to softly touch the computer keys. :)
Playing the piano is his favorite. :)
Outside fun:
I took him to a Sonic play place the other day. He loved being outside and having the place to himself. He now asks me, "Go to Sonic?" :)
Books:
We of course read a lot of books this week! Our favorites this week were:
Click Clack Moo, Cows That Type (which is hilarious) and
First Look and Find Book from Disney: Friends and Heroes

It looks like he had a fun week. I love how he made a road out of his blocks.
