Tot School

Caeden is currently 31 months old.
Tot School
Caeden and I had a great week of Tot School!  I set out a few old activities that I know were his favorites.  I also set out some that I thought maybe he could actually do this time.  I am not doing a theme anymore but incorporating some learning while we "play".

Sensory (fine motor):
C enjoyed using the play-doh off and on this week.  He actually is into using the cookie cutters that I set out for him to use.
 Art:
This week I set out chalk, Do•a•Dot's, and crayons.
C's personal favorite art tool...
I captured this cute video of C counting as he was making "wheels".

I also printed off some coloring pages for him to work on and then allowed him to do scribbling "free drawing" on blank pieces of paper.
Fine Motor activities:
We have plenty of fine motor activities for C to use.  This week I set out his lacing cards, stringing beads, pattern blocks, and pom-pom/block transfer bottle (that I made).

String beads is something C still struggles with but is able to at least get one on before deciding to make a tower of the beads. :)
These pattern blocks are great for introducing toddlers to shapes.  C does this activity with ease now, but does get stuck with the correct way the triangles should go.
Pouring and transferring pom-poms and counting blocks.
Blocks:
C played with these nesting blocks a lot this week.  He mostly used them as a road for his cars, but he did stack them a few times!
Books:
C got these Tag Junior books for Christmas and he loves them!

Cooking Time:
My husband and I decided to let C help us make soup the other day.  I thought this would be a fun activity for C.  He loved helping put the potatoes into the soup, and he loved stirring it too. :)

Outside Fun (in the snow!):
We've had a lot of snow the past week and C has enjoyed playing outside with Daddy!
That was our week of Tot School!
Thanks for stopping by and checking out our activities!

What a fun week!! The video was so cute, my girls wanted to watch it again. I really need to find some of those do-a-dot's.
My girls also love "chalking" as Tabitha calls it. Looks like he had fun.
Looks like you had some fun snow too. We actually got to build a snowman.

So many fun things! My son helped us cook chili today dumping in the cans of beans and tomatoes. He loves to help. The tag junior books look very cute. I wish our library had them! Great week.

Kayleigh's not big on stringing things either. Instead she likes to dump the objects into a container and stir them. LOL At least stacking is more "educational". LOL

I wish she like her tag jr. She's had it for a year and won't touch it.
